I finally figured out how to create an iTunes podcast. I know, I know – so many people have done this. But hey, it’s my first! I have used the podcast I’ve developed with George Sexton at the Unitarian Church in Summit. I worked out all of the detail on how to get this podcast registered with Apple. A lot of details needed to be worked out – how to set the category, the keywords and all that stuff. Well I got it done!

Tired of getting those less than useful emails from Twitter telling you that you have a new person following you?  There isn’t any additional information.  You have to go to Twitter, check out the person and see if you might be interested in following them.  A new service called Twimailer will change all that.  It sends you an email with all the relevant info about the person.  The email also has a link to make it easy to follow the person.  Give it a try!

For the Unix geeks in the crowd….

As of 6:31:30PM ET this afternoon it will officially be 1234567890 Unix time, which started at zero and has been counting seconds since the stroke of midnight on January 1, 1970, not counting leap seconds.  In case you’ve got other plans and can’t celebrate the milestone, I’ll see you December 22, 2282 at 3:13:30PM ET for the celebration of 9876543210.
