Here is the first video of Daniel’s wrestling as a member of the Millburn High School junior varsity team. This is a clip of a match on Jan 15, 2010 at Columbia High School in Maplewood. Daniel had a tough first period, trailing 5-0. But the 2nd period had a better result…..
Ok, maybe not turn it off completely. But how about using Internet based services instead of paying so much money to your cable or satellite provider?
Here is a great article in the NY Times with some details on how to really turn off your cable subscription. Only real problem is trying to watch the Jet game without my FIOS subscription. I’m searching for an answer – let me know if you have any ideas.

This is a really important article for everyone, but especially those who are older. It’s important to get things ready at an age where you can still decide how you’d like to be taken care of when you can’t make your own decisions any more. The article discusses getting an advanced directive in place and provides links to The Caring Connections web site and the Five Wishes web site, where the forms are available.

Kelly and I just finished up shooting some baskets over at the Millburn Middle School. Millburn Recreation has a nice program where they open up the school gym on Sunday afternoon for 2 hours. Kelly and I had a basket to ourselves so we were able to have some fun. Afterwards Kelly decided she wanted to take some shots at the outside basket, which was really “cool” given the 24 degree temperature outside!
